How to switch from blogger to WordPress
Here is a general
outline of the process for converting a Blogger blog to WordPress:
1) Export your Blogger blog - In your Blogger dashboard, go to Settings > Other and use the "Export blog" option to download an XML file of your blog.
2) Import your Blogger
blog to WordPress - In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools > Import and
select the "Blogger" option. Install the WordPress importer plugin if
prompted, and then use it to import the XML file you downloaded from Blogger.
3) Assign authors to
imported posts - After the import process is complete, you will need to assign
authors to the imported posts. You can do this by going to the "All
Posts" page in your WordPress dashboard and using the "Quick
Edit" feature to change the author for each post.
4) Set up redirects -
If you want to preserve the old URLs of your Blogger posts, you will need to
set up redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs. There are a number of
WordPress plugins that can help with this process.
5) Customize your
WordPress site - Once your Blogger content has been imported to WordPress, you
can begin customizing your WordPress site to suit your needs. This may include
selecting a new theme, installing plugins, and setting up widgets and menus.
This is just a general
outline of the process for converting a Blogger blog to WordPress. Depending on
the specifics of your blog, you may need to take additional steps or encounter
some unique challenges. It is generally a good idea to back up your blog and do
